The San Francisco Deputy Sheriffs’ Association Political Action Committee is proud to announce its endorsement of David Canepa for San Mateo County Assessor-County Clerk-Recorder and Chief Elections Officer.

David Canepa has built a reputation as a dedicated public servant, community leader, and advocate for transparency, accountability, and effective government. As a longtime member of the San Mateo County Board of Supervisors and former Mayor of Daly City, he has demonstrated a commitment to public service and delivering results for the communities he serves.

In his campaign for Assessor-County Clerk-Recorder and Chief Elections Officer, Canepa has emphasized modernizing government services, improving transparency, strengthening public trust, ensuring accurate property assessments, and maintaining secure and accessible elections.

The SFDSA PAC supports candidates who demonstrate leadership, integrity, and a commitment to serving the public. We believe David Canepa possesses the experience, vision, and dedication necessary to lead this important county office and serve the residents of San Mateo County with distinction. His candidacy has earned support from a broad coalition of labor organizations, community leaders, and elected officials throughout the region.
