Hear Why SFDSA Endorses #1 Jane Kim for Mayor & Mark Leno #2

The San Francisco Deputy Sheriffs’ Association is pleased to announce its endorsements for San Francisco Mayor.  Jane Kim and Mark Leno represent the strongest candidates for improving public safety in San Francisco,” says SFDSA President Ken Lomba.  “Both candidates have impressive track records of working to improve San Franciscans quality of life through thoughtful policies and strong leadership,” he says.

“As the labor union representing the women and men who serve as peace officers in the Sheriff’s Department, we see firsthand how important it is to have strong leadership that keeps San Francisco safe and ensures that we have a world class law enforcement team working on behalf of all San Franciscans.  Kim and Leno are the strongest candidates to make San Francisco a safer place to live, work, and visit.”

The San Francisco Deputy Sheriffs’ Association went through a rigorous process to arrive at its endorsements.  The SFDSA political action committee thoroughly researched candidates and invited each candidate for mayor to participate in a questionnaire addressing important public safety issues.  On May 7, the Board of Directors considered the recommendations of the committee and voted to endorse Jane Kim (#1) and Mark Leno (#2).
