President Danilo Quintanilla is the President of the San Francisco Deputy Sheriffs’ Association (SFDSA) and a Senior Deputy with the San Francisco Sheriff’s Office, bringing over a decade of public safety experience and executive leadership in labor relations and organizational strategy. Since beginning his law enforcement career in 2016, Danilo has developed extensive expertise in custodial operations, institutional safety, and workforce management, earning promotion to Senior Deputy in 2025. As President of the SFDSA, he leads initiatives focused on strengthening organizational governance, advancing professional standards, and fostering collaborative relationships between labor, management, and community stakeholders. His policy focus areas include labor relations, staffing and workforce allocation, employee wellness and safety, organizational accountability, budgeting and resource planning, and strategic policy development to support effective public safety operations. Danilo holds a Master of Public Administration (MPA) from San Francisco State University, equipping him with advanced training in public sector leadership, policy analysis, and organizational management.
